Everest base Camp Trek We set off to follow the footsteps of Edmund Hillary and did Everest base Camp Trekking in October 2006 with Trexmount Ventures. There were so many highlights in the journey however – the school at Kumjung , the hospital at Kunde , the monastery at Tengboche and the foot of the mountain he submitted was an awesome experience. The views were spectacular, and the trail was challenging but we made it and fulfilled our dreams. We were well looked after during the trek and our porters made life easy by doing all the hard work, carrying our packs, and encouraging us along the way. Hari and his team worked their magic and we came home with tales to tell our families & friends about the wonderful experience of the footsteps of Hillary.
