Dhampus Peak

Dhampus Peak

Trip Grade

Thapa Peak Climbing is another name for Dhampus Peak Climbing. It is located between the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna mountain ranges. The Dhampus peak rises to the northeast of the vast Dhaulagiri Himalayan Range, and to the northwest of the lovely city of Pokhara. Climbers looking for an adventurous trek should try Dhampus Peak Mountaineering.

Dhaulagiri Circuit Trek paired with Dhampus Peak Climbing excursion is a less traveled and less challenging track than other peaks. This peak is accessible to beginners and climbers with limited peak climbing experience. We cross two challenging snow-covered passes on the way: French Pass (5360 meters) and Dhampus Pass (5200 meters).

If technical difficulties arise, This Peak is a simple mountain to ascend. For the trekking trail, we follow a beautiful natural path. The ideal months to climb the peak are March-May and September-November, while it is accessible year-round. From the Dhampus summit, we can see thirty distinct peaks, making our trip valuable and memorable.

Apart from natural beauty, we will get the opportunity to learn about diverse cultures and traditions along the way, which would be fantastic. Dhampus Peak is ideal for beginners who wish to acquire some hands-on experience with mountain climbing for the first time. Although no technical abilities are required to summit this peak, any experience trekking in the snow will be an advantage. Although no skills are required, physical and mental fitness are required to tackle the rigors of peak climbing. The Dhampus peak tour is one of the most popular climbing routes.

Dhampus Peak Climbing Itinerary

Dhampus Mountain The climb begins with a beautiful journey from Kathmandu to Pokhara. We take another drive from Pokhara to Beni, the starting location of our journey. We’ll start our walk by following a trail that runs through Nepal’s most isolated and underdeveloped region. We’ll also pass through a number of cultural settlements, as well as gorgeous valleys and alpine glaciers. The main feature is that it offers a spectacular perspective of Annapurna I, II, III, and IV. The principal attractions in this region include Annapurna South, Nilgiri Peak, Tilicho Peak, and many other snow-covered summits. Climbers must be well-equipped with all of the required climbing gear and equipment. As we approach the Dhampus Peak Summit, we will also follow the advice of our knowledgeable Sherpa guide.

More about This Peak Climbing

Dhampus Peak is also one of the most popular climbing destinations. It is located in the Dhaulagiri mountain to the northeast. It is one of the easiest summits to climb. Dhampus peak is a popular tourist destination because it provides breathtaking views of the Dhaulagiri mountain range. Because Dhampus Peak is positioned between the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges, you may enjoy spectacular vistas of snow-capped mountains as well as first-hand experience of climbing to the peak. You may also see Tukuche Peak (6920m) and Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m) directly in front of you from here.

Because it is positioned between the two largest mountain ranges, you will have the opportunity to photograph Mt.Annapurna I, Annapurna II, Annapurna III, Annapurna IV, and Annapurna-South. You will also have the opportunity to see the Nilgiri and Tilicho peaks towering over the horizon in the south. The trek to Dhamus starts in Jomsom, and the path to Dhampus Peak follows the west ridge that connects Dhampus Pass (5200m), where we will pitch up camp.
