Overview

Adventure sports enthusiasts can truly enjoy the Mountain Cycling Tour in Tibet. Biking at such high altitudes and the land area will be a once-in-a-lifetime challenge and narrative. It will start in Tibet and finish in Nepal. A few high passes in Tibet and the Everest Base Camp will be reached during these three weeks of excursions. Additionally, you will witness Tibetan history, culture, and the region’s inherent allure. The most unforgettable trip will be visiting important locations including Jokhang Temple, Potala Palace, and Rongphu Monastery.

Views of the magnificent North Face of Mount Everest, the most breathtaking of all, will enthrall you. It is called Mount Qumulangma in Tibetan, which translates to “The Third Goddess.” Rising to a height of 8848.13 meters in the heart of the Himalayas, Mount Everest will make an amazing mountain view to the visitors.

This biking ride in Tibet is going thought lovely highway. There are highest peaks on Earth, with four peaks rising beyond 8000 meters and 38 peaks surpassing 7000 meters. You will also get a taste of the native way of life. The ventures in the mountain biking is offering marvel at the breathtaking vistas of the mountains and lush valleys covered in forests and have the chance to learn about the Tibetan religion. The optimal months for a tour of the Tibet Everest base camp are May, June, July, and August.

You take a flight from Kathmandu to Lhasa.  After visiting Lhasa, we return to the fabled cities of Gyantse, Shaigatse, and Old Tingri, which provide captivating views of the enigmatic valley, before continuing our tour. Additionally, you will go on an expedition to the greatest monastic institutions in the world, the Sera and Drepung monasteries.
These three weeks Tibet tours will make the highlight to reach Everest Base Camp . Driving through the high passes in Tibet. You will also get to see Tibetan culture, history, and the natural fascination of Tibet. You will be amaze meeting local people and visiting the significant monasteries among which Rongphu Monastery, Potala Palace, and Jokhang Monasteries will be the most memorable experience.

Itinerary

01Day

Arrive kathmandu.

After arrival at the airport, you will be transferred to the hotel. With a comprehensive tour briefing including passport, insurance, and two passport-size photos. Confirmation of the flight schedule is followed by a welcome dinner. (Meals: D)

02Day

Kathmandu.

Drive to the Historical and Cultural Hub of Kathmandu, which includes Swoyambhunath, Boudhanath, Pashupatinath, and Patan Durbar Squire. (Meals: B).

03Day

Kathmandu.

After breakfast, ride your bike to Lakuri Bhanjung on the outskirt of Kathmandu and return to the hotel. This will offer you a brief opportunity to warm up. (Meals: B).

04Day

Lhasa.

Morning Flight to Gonker Airport with China Air, Transfer into the Hotel & Free time to Acclimatize with the Altitude. (Meals- B).

05Day

Lhasa.

Take a city tour of Lhasa and stop by Norbulinga Monastery, Durpang Monastery, Sera Monastery, Potala Palace, and Bhaskar Market. On the afternoon of Day 6, if you’d like, you can go for a quick warm-up ride. (Meals: B).

Nagartze (Distant 183 km).

Following your breakfast at the hotel, head toward Nagartze. You’ll ride for about 50 km before driving the remaining distance. (Meals: B).

08Day

Gyantse (Distant 110 km).

After ridding about 70km in Gyantse, you can drive rest of the path (Meals: B)

09Day

Shigatse (Distant 96 km).

Riding to Shigatse and you can take a good rest, and explore around Shigatse. (Meals: B)

10Day

Tashilhunpo Monastery (Distant 93 km).

On this day, you will take a ride for a few km and drive to Tashilhunpo Monastery. (Meals: B)

11Day

Lhatse (Distant 160 km).

After riding a few km, you can take a drive to Lhatse via Two Passes (Tra La & Tso La). (Meals: B)

12Day

Tingri (Distant 70 km).

On this day you will have to ride and take a drive through the Highest pass Gyatso La (5200m) in the tour. (Meals: B)

13Day

Rongbuk (Distant 160 km).

Passing through the two high passes you can take a ride and drive half of the path to Rongbuk .(Meals:B)

14Day

EBC & Tingri (Distant 185 km).

On this particular day, you can ride to EBC and take a drive to come back to Tingri.

15Day

Near La Lalung La pass (Distant 70 km).

You will be riding near the La Lalung Pass or before it. (Meals: B)

16Day

Nylamu (Distant 85 km).

You will be riding to Nylamu Village on this day. (Meals: B)

17Day

Dhulikhel (Distant 135 km).

Ride & Drive to Dhulikhel Via Kodari which is a boarder between Nepal & Tibet (China). (Meals- B).

18Day

Kathmandu (Distant 30 km).

Drive to Kathmandu & Free time in kathmandu. (Meals- B).

19Day

Kathmandu.

Rest day & Free time, Evening Farewell Dinner.  (Meals- B | D).

20Day

Departure

Transfer to the Airport. Goodbye & Happy Journey. (Meals- B).
