As a couple in a party of 11 we had a fabulous 3 weeks time in Nepal, visiting the Kathmandu Valley, Chitwan, Lumbini, Pokhara, kurintar spring resort and a remote hill village. Trexmount Ventures has organized Two Different Treks 4/17/2013 and we have Trekked through Langtang valley with climbing of Tsergo Ri (+/- 5000m) & Gosaikunda valley with crossing of Lauribina Pass (4610m). We have put 50 days for the Nepal adventure expedition through the Nepalese Himalayas. First planned an adventure in the Kanchenjunga and Makalu regions, the plan was to first go to the Kanchenjunga base camp and then follow the great Himalayan trail to connect with the Makalu Barun region. After this trek, we planned an attempt at Mera Peak. Due to the bad weather and lots of snow in early October (due to the Indian cyclone) the traverse was almost impossible to make so we decide... We really enjoyed the Annapurna Mountain and its many surprises. The mountains are definitely one of the most beautiful sights and scenes that we have experienced! We have been to so many places like Ghorepani and climbed many mountains, but the Annapurna Area is just beautiful! We could say, we got more than we asked for! we also admire the friendliness of the locals, their spicy cuisine, their colorful culture and their warm hospitality.
