This is the trek and climb to Tent Peak  Climbing, which follows the river Modi upstream all the way to its source at Annapurna base camp and the sanctuary.

As walk to Annapurna base camp is for few hours with enough rest for acclimatization, as this trek where chances of getting AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness) is slim as it approaches only at 4,095 meters high at base camp, from here onwards with short day walks towards Tent peak base and high camp, with time to allow for proper acclimatization. So that everyone in the group will be fit for the climb to Tent Peak  at 5,663 meters high, on leaving Annapurna base camp setting two camps with free afternoon and preparation for the tough climb of Tent Peak Tharpu Chuli. Our route leads by Annapurna I, Gangapurna glacier to set up 2 camps to make it more possible and safe climb to the summit, as the climb is straight forward with some technical difficulty in several sections, use of crampons with ice axe are necessary in the entire climb even up to high camp.

Tent Peak  rated PD + ( Peu Difficile / with some technical difficult and walking on glaciers) the grade as per Swiss / French Alpine System which is widely used world over. From the summit awesome panorama of Annapurna Sanctuary, with Mt. Annapurna’s I, II, III and IV, Gangapurna, Glacier Dome as far to Mt. Dhaulagiri, Tilicho and Manaslu and mountain range in the distance.
