Overview

Siklis is one of the largest villages in the Gurung group. And it still reflects the people’s traditional way of life. This lovely town sits above the Mardi Khola at an elevation of 1981 meters. With views of Annapurna IV to the north and Annapurna II and Lamjung Himal to the east. Siklis was known for its pristine forested surroundings. Making it an ideal location for bird watchers, as Siklis Trek is home to a variety of bird species.

Because it is not a high-altitude trip, Siklis Trekking is one of the greatest trekking places. For individuals who have no prior trekking experience in Nepal. We can enjoy the historic and traditional culture of the Gurung people. And engage with the locals to feel their warm welcome. Because the path passes through several human villages along the way. Many individuals in this region served in the British military as Gurkha soldiers. And if we’re lucky, we’ll hear some of the brave stories about the Gurkhas’ service to Britain.

Siklis Trek allows you to take in the terraced fields. Which are generally covered in seasonal crops depending on when you come. In addition, when one is doing this trek they can explore the abundant flora and fauna of the place. And this journey is not overly busy, allowing you to enjoy every bit of your stay with the locals. This trekking is also suitable for family outings with small children. Siklis trekking is somewhat demanding and suited for people of all ages.

The trek begins in the lovely city of Pokhara. Pokhara can be reached by either flying or driving from Kathmandu. The trekking trip begins at Begnas Lake, where we go north along the Madi Khola to Baral. Also, we drive through various villages and terraced fields before arriving in the village of Siklis.

Then we pass by beautiful Himalayan scenery, quaint dwellings, and nice inhabitants along the road. We continue on to Hoga, from where we travel to Chisapani via Burijung Khola and Bharaburi. Siklis’s walk concludes in Pokhara, from where we return to Kathmandu or any other destination you specify.

Siklis village, one of Nepal’s traditional Gurung settlements, is located in the eastern portion of the Annapurna conservation area. Similarly, the Gurung inhabitants of this village hail from the western portion of Tibet, and their way of life reflects this. Likewise. the majority of the residents in this village are Gorkha army veterans who now work in agriculture. Furthermore, this village’s Gurung people are extremely hospitable and proud of their long-preserved culture, heritage, traditions, customs, rituals, and festivals. Trekkers should stay in the traditionally painted homes of Gurung people in this village.

Trekkers can study and experience the key cultural components of the Tibetan Gurung people. By staying at their homes throughout the Siklis walk. To entertain their tourists, the Gurung inhabitants of this village put on a spectacular singing and dance event. Trekkers can participate in a singing and dancing program with local Gurung people. While staying at Siklis village, which will be a unique experience.

Itinerary

01Day

Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara, overnight at lodging.

After breakfast, at a young hour early in the day you will touch base at Pokhara after a drive for about 6 hours. You will have the capacity to have a stunning display of stream and view completely through your drive. You will be taken to your lodging and with an unwinding evening. You can even visit around lakeside area or you can go for sculling at well known Fewa Lake. We will remain overnight in the lodging.

02Day

Drive from Pokhara to Bijayapur by transport and trek to Kalikastan, overnight at homestay.

From Kathmandu taking 30 minutes flight, we move to Pokhara and afterward drive to Bijaypur. Or then again, we can likewise drive through the Prithivi Highway to Bijaypur taking around 8 hours. What’s more, we will make a short trek to Kalikastan. We climb completely through the terraced fields of Kandane and take after the vertical stone advances, lastly achieving a plane way underneath the shade of trees. The trail is steep yet the setting is inconceivable. Presently we move to Kalikastan. 03Day

Trek from Kalikastan to Lamachour, overnight at homestay .

We today, take off from Kalikasthan going through a few waterfalls. At that point our way moves downhill to the lavish green stream vale, before moving towards Lamachaur. Overnight we have a home remain in Lamachaur. (Meals:B,L,D)

04Day

Trek from Lamachour to Siklish, overnight at homestay.

Today, after we leave Lamachaur, the track climbs to Siklish completely through thick rhododendron woods and Nepal’s one of the biggest Gurung towns. We reach at the best spot subsequent to moving around 500m over the town from where you will see the dazzling Himalayan landscape and close up perspectives of Annapurna II, Lamjung Himal and Manaslu. We will have a home remain in Siklish today around evening time. (Meals:B,L,D)

05Day

Trek from Siklish to Bhaisikarka, overnight at homestay.

We today climb tough completely through the rhododendron and oak woods to the edge for eye-getting perspectives of Himchuli, Dhaulagiri range and Annapurna South. The track is tight and comes the ridgeline before moving down through the rhododendron woodland. We have a home remain in Bhaisikarka. (Meals:B,L,D)

06Day

Trek from Bhaisikarka to Ghale Gaon, overnight at homestay.

We today, move down through the thick rhododendron woodland and reach to the diverting town, Ghale Gaun. From here, we will appreciate the great perspectives of Annapurna and Fishtail. (Meals:B,L,D)

07Day

Trek from Ghale Gaon to Puranochour and by drive to Pokhara, overnight at inn.

08Day

Drive Pokhara to Kathmandu, overnight at inn.

Abandoning the great wide open at a young hour toward the beginning of the day and going for 6 hours we backpedal back to Kathmandu. We can either take a vehicle for a drive or fly once again from the dazzling city Pokhara. On landing in Kathmandu you will be moved to the inn. You would then be able to unwind for rest of the day and remain overnight at inn.
