Overview

Arun Valley Trekking is a peaceful off-the-beaten-path Nepal trekking trail located near Barun and Sagarmatha National Parks. The hike provides spectacular views of Mt. Everest and Mt. Makalu, as well as hundreds of other mountains. Sherpa, Rai, Limbu, and other ethnic groups live on the land. After a flight to Tumlingtar, the journey begins and ends in Lukla.

The voyage provides an unfathomable range of distinctive excellence and culture. Arun Valley Trekking takes you into the deep chasm of the beautiful Arun Valley region.

As we approach Mera, the Arun Valley Trekking is a magnificent, green desert garden rich in winged animal life, and the first couple of days add an exciting intricacy to the high mountain terrain.

The views along this stretch are spectacular. The Kanchenjunga and Jannu trekkers are making progress to the east. The views of Hunku and Hongu govern the north.

The Arun Valley Trekking trail leads to Thangnag (4366m) and then to Khare (5108m), where the base camp is established. Taking you to Mera La (5415m).

Trekkers will continue south to the Hunku Drangka and then swing west to cross the Zattrawa La Pass to the Tenzing Hillary Airfield in Lukla, which is the world’s most severe airport. We’ll travel back to Kathmandu the next day for a fantastic conclusion.

What’s more on Arun Valley Trekking

Trekkers who wish to travel up the northern bank of the Arun Khola to Sedua must first pass the 4110 m high Barun La Pass. It leads trekkers to the Barun Khola Valley on Mt. Makalu’s outskirts.

You can create a substantially more out-of-control journey by intersecting Sherpani Col and west col into the upper Hongu Valley.

Salpa Bhanjyang is the third most amazing hiking destination, and you can also visit the Hindu sacred Lake Salpa Blessed Lake (3414m). Book the Arun Valley Trekking to view Nepal’s magnificent natural treasures from a different perspective.

This region is rich in natural beauty and cultural diversity. Due to its remoteness and lack of tea shops, this area still attracts a small number of trekkers. The principal inhabitants in this area are Sherpa, Rai, and Limbus.

They were walking north up the Arun River to Sedua and Num, then crossing Barun La (4,110m) into the upper Barun Khola valley to see Makalu up close (8463m).

By crossing Sherpani Col and West Col into the upper Hongu Valley, you can create an even more adventurous journey. Without prior knowledge, the second leg of the trek is extremely tough and nearly impossible. Also, take in the natural beauty of the area.

This is a wonderful and easy trip for hikers who don’t want to encounter a large number of visitors on the trail but still want to experience gorgeous valley scenes and magnificent vistas of silvery mountains. On the way to the walking terrain, the seductive views of the Arun River and valleys may be observed.

Walking north up the Arun River to Sedua and Num, then crossing Barun La (4,110m.). Into the upper Barun Khola valley to get a good sight of Makalu.

Crossing Sherpani Col and West Col into the upper Hongu Valley makes for an even more adventurous trip. Salpa Bhanjyang is the highest peak on this hike. And we may also visit the Hindu holy lake of Salpa Sacred Lake (3414 m.).
