Overview

Mountain Cycling Tour in Tibet is giving a real experience for Adventure sports lovers. The land space & biking at such an altitude will make a real challenge & story in the lifetime. It will begin in Lhasa & End in Nepal. These three weeks’ tours will make up to the Everest Base Camp with a Few high passes in Tibet. You will also get to see Tibetan culture, history, and the natural fascination of Tibet. A visit to significant places like Rongphu Monastery, Potala Palace, and Jokhang Temple will be the most memorable experience.

You will be captivated seeing the view of the great North face of Mount Everest, the most spectacular of all, known as Mount Qumulangma in Tibetan Language which literally means “The Third Goddess”. Towering 8848.13 meters in the central section of the Himalayas, Quomolangma is full of snow-capped peaks and glaciers.

Everest region has four peaks above 8000 meters and 38 peaks above 7000 meters, thus is reputed as the highest peak on the Earth. Also, you will experience the local culture; delight yourself with magnificent mountain views, lush forested valleys, and opportunities to learn about the Tibetan religion. May, June, July and August is best season for the Tibet Everest base camp tour.

From Kathmandu you take a flight to Lhasa and after exploring Lhasa city, we return to the legendary city Gyantse, Shaigatse and Old Tingri which have enthralling sights of the mystical valley before heading to our journey. Moreover, you will have an excursion to the Sera and Drepung monasteries the largest monastic institutions in the world.

The Chorten tombs of three Dalai Lamas are sited at Drepung. You will be touring alongside the beautiful turquoise lake on the way to the historic town of Gyantse with its unique multi-storied Kumbum Stupa. At Shigatse walk through the massive Tashilungpo monastery and visit the memorial ‘Chorten’ of the late Panchen Lama.

Itinerary

01Day

Arrive kathmandu.

Pick up at the Airport, Transfer to the Hotel & Briefing about the Whole tour with collecting Passport, Insurance, 2 PP size photo, Flight itinerary to reconfirmed followed by Welcome Dinner. (Meals- D).

02Day

Kathmandu.

Visit the Historical & Cultural Hub of Kathmandu Swoyambhunath, Boudhanath, Pashupatinath, and Patan Durbar Squire by Car or Hiace. (Meals- B).

03Day

Kathmandu.

Ride your Bike after Breakfast & Reach Lakuri Bhanjung on the outskirt of Kathmandu & back into the Hotel which will give you a little warm-up. (Meals- B).

04Day

Lhasa.

Morning Flight to Gonker Airport with China Air, Transfer into the Hotel & Free time to Acclimatize with the Altitude. (Meals- B).

05-06Day

Lhasa.

City Tour in Lhasa & Visit Norbulinga Monastery, Durpang Monastery, Sera Monastery, Potala Palace, and Bhaskar Market. ( If you like you can go on short Warm-up Ride on Day 6 Afternoon.  (Meals- B).

07Day

Nagartze (Distant 183 km).

Breakfast in the Hotel, Start toward Nagartze, you will ride approx. 50km & Drive the Rest. (Meals- B).

08Day

Gyantse (Distant 110 km).

Ride approx. 70 km & Drive the Rest. (Meals- B).

09Day

Shigatse (Distant 96 km).

Drive & Ride to Shigatse (Meals- B).

10Day

Tashilhunpo Monastery (Distant 93 km).

Drive & Ride to the Monastery (Meals- B).

11Day

Lhatse (Distant 160 km).

Drive & Ride to Lhatse via Two Passes (Tra La & Tso La) (Meals- B).

12Day

Tingri (Distant 70 km).

Drive & Ride through the Highest pass Gyatso La (5200m) in the tour. (Meals- B).

13Day

Rongbuk (Distant 160 km).

Drive & Ride through the two high passes to Rongbuk. (Meals- B).

14Day

EBC & Tingri (Distant 185 km).

Drive or Ride to EBC & Back to Tingri (Meals- B).

15Day

Near La Lalung La pass (Distant 70 km).

Ride to before the Lalung la pass. (Meals- B).

16Day

Nylamu (Distant 85 km).

Ride to Nylamu Village. (Meals- B).

17Day

Dhulikhel (Distant 135 km).

Ride & Drive to Dhulikhel Via Kodari which is a boarder between Nepal & Tibet (China). (Meals- B).

18Day

Kathmandu (Distant 30 km).

Drive to Kathmandu & Free time in kathmandu. (Meals- B).

19Day

Kathmandu.

Rest day & Free time, Evening Farewell Dinner.  (Meals- B | D).

20Day

Departure

Transfer to the Airport. Goodbye & Happy Journey. (Meals- B).
