Australian Camp Trekking is a beautiful hill station which is getting popular day-by-day as an ideal option for short trekking from pokhara, offering stunning views of Annapurna Himalaya range together with spectacles horizon view of the hilly region, Mountain villages and the picturesque Pokhara Valley.
Australian Camp Trekking begins with a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara. We drive for one hour to Kande from where we begin trekking and ascend to Australian Camp that takes 2 hours. Australian Camp is situated into the middle of a forest that provide a magnificent 360° view that includes Annapurna south, himchuli, gangapurna, Annapurna III, Annapurna IV, Lamjung Himal, Manaslu, Fishtail the Machhapuchhare and Dhaulagiri which is most likely all mountains from Annapurna region. Once time permit, we will explore the pothana village. After good time here in the mountain, we will descend with a captivating experience by walking through small lush rhododendron forests, Gurung villages, harvesting fields — all with scenic views of the massif Annapurna Himalayan.
